The Full-Time classes run from 8.30 to 4.00 pm and students take the following subjects:

  1. Agriculture (including rabbitry, bee keeping, organic farming, etc.), so as to maximize the output from the family "shamba" (garden).

  2. Garment-making and machine-knitting for saleable items .

  3. Home Science (nutrition, hygiene, child and health care, house keeping, cookery, laundry) aimed at helping to improve the standard of living and quality of life, as well as earning an income.

  4. English for communication especially in business.

  5. Simple Accounting for running a small business.

  6. Ethics classes for social and professional development.

The Saturday class runs from 9.30 am  to 4.30 pm on 3 Saturdays a month.

The classes include :

  1. Dressmaking :this requires attendance for at least 2 years in order to sit a trade test exam and get a certificate .

  2. Cookery: the cookery course requires attendance of one  year in order to get a certificate of attendance.

  3. Ethics : Included in the course on personal and social development.

These courses have been tailored to meet the educational level and  circumstances of the students.
